Thame Community & Youth Centre – Public Consultation A4 Flyer
Thame Town Council asked me to design a community flyer to communicate the vision for a new Thame Community & Youth Centre and to encourage local support for the project. The brief required a clear and accessible design that would outline the centre’s purpose, explain its benefits to residents, and demonstrate public backing for a proposed Public Works Loan, which involved a council tax increase of up to £35 per household per year.
My design combined artist impressions of the planned centre with concise, persuasive copy and a practical tear-off response section to gauge residents’ support and willingness to contribute. The flyer was distributed to every home in Thame and was well received by the community, helping the council to secure the local support needed to move the project forward.
